Katherine Hackl Public Art - Princeton Public Library

“Princeton Stories” tile installation is in the Princeton Collections Room at the Princeton Public Library. This room houses the town's literary and historic publications. Katherine worked in coordination with the Princeton Public Library Art Committee and the Hillier Architects in developing and integrating the tile artwork in the room. She created artwork that illustrates some of the stories, cultural and intellectual landmarks, and social history unique to Princeton. The resulting installation encompasses both the well known and the obscure, creating a sense of familiarity as well as sparking curiosity for the visitors.
